Amanda’s writing has appeared in Indiana Review, Orion Magazine, Virginia Quarterly Review, Aeon Magazine, Fourth Genre, The Magazine, Imagination & Place: Cartography, Flyway, Terrain, and Passages North, among others. Her work has twice been selected as “notable” essay in Best American Essays (2015 and 2016), once in Best American Sports Writing (2016), has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and has received support from Playa Fellowship Residency Program, University of Pittsburgh’s Nationality Room Scholarships, and the Berkshire-Taconic Community Foundation.
